Dedicated to Kim Langlois
Forever In Our Hearts

Kim Langlois epitomized the term “Boxer Mom”. She devoted every spare moment to the care of our beloved breed and educating the public on being a responsible Boxer companion. Her dedication and hard work led to the successful acceptance of our 501(c)(3), and setting up our first website. She housed as many as 20 homeless Boxers at any given time and cared for them with love and devotion never once neglecting one for the other. We carry on in her memory.

If you have a memorial of a LaBR rescue you would like remembered, please contact Connie, or a volunteer.

"Deja"
1998-2009

Deja was a very special girl. She was a pleasure and we loved her every minute of everyday. She was sweet, loving, loyal, frisky and fun! She was Bruno's constant companion and best buddy. We will miss her "Flying Nun ears" and her "singing" to us when it was time for dinner. We will miss her prancing like a pony on the beach and her wiggle-butt when she was happy to see us. We will miss her expressive eyes and her smiling, beautiful face. Her wonderful spirit however, will live on with us forever and we are comforted in knowing that she can now run and play, happy and free from illness, knowing we will meet again someday.

We miss our Deacon so much! He was such a great boy & we were blessed to have him for 3 wonderful years. We can send him to the bridge knowing that we gave him a happy & loving last few years. I rest easy at night knowing that he is jumping & kidney beaning with his foster mommy! Deaky Doodle will be missed by Mommy, Daddy, CC & Yoji!

"Jett"
CH Breho Given To Fly CD RA

October 18, 2001 - March 28, 09

This gorgeous boy wooed all those that saw him. He LOVED balls, loved to jump over hurdles, loved the beach and most of all loved his Mom and all that they did together. He was a sweet boy that was taken from us much too soon. But in his short life he accomplished many things. When he was a puppy he and his friend Susan Kelly won Best Puppy in Match! He earned his AKC Championship with his handler Terri Galle proudly strutting him around the ring. His Major win at the Bluebonnet Specialty was especially exciting. His last win in the show ring was a Best of Breed. He and his Mom had fun showing in Obedience and Rally earning his CD and his Advanced Rally titles. He always made the obedience judges smile because he tried so hard and looked up at his Mom as if to say “I did that right, huh Mom?” Jett was not a rescue but he was their friend. His home was their home and he never complained that Mom spent time with them too. Jett was happy to the end, with his Mom, brothers and sisters. We all miss him so. He will live on in our hearts and memory forever.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends, so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
-author unknown-

Those who went to the Bridge without their own special human will cross with the rescuers...they will not be forgotten.
