Louisiana Boxer Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding homes for abandoned and stray Boxers and educating the public on responsible pet ownership. Our success and operation depend solely on volunteers. Volunteers lend their time selflessly because of their love for animals and desire to help others. Please consider volunteering to help in anyway you can, just a few hours a week of your time can make a world of difference.

Fostering A Rescue:

Consider fostering one of our rescues in your home. Foster homes provide not only food and shelter, but love and compassion. Foster homes help us socialize and evaluate our rescues to get them ready for a new lease on life in a permanent home.

Transporting dogs to the vet
Picking up dogs from a shelter
Running errands
Walking Dogs
Bathing Dogs
Cleaning Crates
Pet Sitting to give another volunteer a much needed break
